A few household crafting tools are required, including scissors, straight pins or sewing clips, a hot glue gun and glue sticks, and an iron with a heat-safe ironing surface.
Once made, the Barn Page invites children to open and close the doors, discover the animals hiding inside, make animal sounds and create simple farm stories. Through play, children can explore object permanence, cause and effect, textures, colours and farm vocabulary while practising fine motor skills, early communication, memory and imagination.
